This is a mock webpage that I designed for my class at the University of Minnesota Duluth. All the information in this website is made up, it is my hope for my own daycare in the future.

Here at Happy Hearts Daycare we provide a very loving, warm and nurturing environment for children. It is based off of three main theorist of Early Childhood. Vygotsky, Piaget, and Howard Gardner.

Vygotsky believed in social interaction, and here, at Happy Hearts, we try to promote as much interaction among the children as possible. We believe that working together, and building friendships is really important for young children.

Piaget believed in sensory learning. We provide as many opportunities for children to learn and explore on their own. We believe that allowing children to explore and being as involved in their learning as possible is really important to their development at such a young age.

Gardner is most known for his research on the multiple intelligences. Focusing on the whole child is really important. We always remember that no two children are the same, and each child is unique in many ways.
